Science is not merely a collection of facts, concepts, and useful ideas about nature or even the systematic investigation of nature, although both are common definitions of science. Science is a method of investigating nature -- a way of knowing about nature -- that discovers reliable knowledge about it. In other words, science is a method of discovering reliable knowledge about nature.

Science is wonderful thing. If one does not earn, ones living at it

Every aspect, field, and sphere of life has been deeply affected by science. It has blessed us with many comforts. Everything, big or small proclaim the glory of science. The fairy tales of yesterday have become true and real today.

Modern age is the age of science

Every aspect of life has the imprint of science. The various modern inventions of science - the heater, the press, the pressure-cooker and many other things of our ordinary use, have made our domestic life very happy and comfortable. Science has bestowed us the gift of electricity. It grows and cooks our food; it lights our homes; it cool us in summer and warm us in winter. Indeed whenever may cast our eyes, we notice the triumphs and wonders of science.

Science is a beautiful gift to humanity.

The things that we use in our daily life are mostly due to science. Our forefathers put on cloths woven by hand. Our clothes are made in large factories where scientific methods are used. We get so many papers to write on, only because the paper mills can turn out huge quantities of it. Cloth and paper, we had even before science came but no one could then think of the huge quantities in which they are produced now.

Science has conquered time and distance.

We can travel from one place to another place with a quickness which our forefathers could not have dreamed. The global seems to have shrunk in size. The long journeys of months are completed in hours today. The modern man has conquered the moon and is trying to conquer the distant planets like Venus and Mars.

Medicine is a science of uncertainty and an art of probability.

Even the field of medicine has not eluded the group of science. Science has enabled man to put up a fight against incurable disease like tuberculosis and overcome them. With the help of X-rays and ultrasound techniques, even the internal diseases of man can be diagnosed and cured. In short, science has provided the blind with eyes, the lame with legs, and the deaf with ears.

The science of today is the technology of of tomorrow.

Science has proved equally helpful in the field of agriculture, industry, engineering, and technology. Using modern scientific methods we can get more and more and good food. We can also preserve food for a long time. Science has provided us the communication system. It is an age of computers, automation, and mechanization. So we can conclude that

Science and everyday life cannot and should not be separated.

Science has also got disadvantages along its great advantages. The man has now become a slave of machines. His own creative power is gradually becoming weaker. He does not sing, he listens to the radio; he does not act, he sees the cinema, he does not ramble among the beauties, he drives in a motor car over a dusty road.

Science never solve a problem without creating ten more.

Science also includes some disastrous disadvantages which can be great harm for us. It has such disadvantages which can destroy us and our habitat easily. It's disadvantages ruined our life and we have become addicted to using it and the more we use it the more its disadvantages effects.

Science is a useful servant but a dangerous master.

Our life is in danger in a big extent, due to the disadvantages of science. It also harms our life expectancy. Sometimes the more use of it causes harmful diseases like a Brain tumor, Cancer, Nerves problem, etc. As the more use of it is done in inventions and discoveries, more its disadvantages arise and harm us. It has such disadvantages which make its advantages too small. Our life is totally at risk due to its disadvantages.

To every advantage there is a corresponding disadvantage.

The use of violent action and instability may occur which may eventually take over the human and universe in the coming future. Due to advancement in science, the identity and culture are faded, the diseases are produced at an alarming rate and pollution is increased in geometric ratio. Because of the advancement of science in unwanted business, people are so busy that a son cannot recognize his father. Many illegal and prohibited works are increased. One is not able to sound sleep and breath fresh air.

Science is not perfect.

The black history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki shows how dreadful unwanted advancement in science has been made. So, we should become aware of every event that may take place in days to come and to overcome the unnecessary events every probable consequence in future should be applied by using the principle of science.

Science, in the very act of solving problems, creates more of them.

Vibrations coming from mobile phones affect our heart and brain, screen touch mobile phones lead to finger cancer. Science had made our life too smaller than our ancestors. The disadvantages of science have not only grabbed us but also had grabbed the living creatures like animals, insects, bees, etc.

Science has not solved problems, only shifted the points of problem.

The misuse of science has brought human life in the complete destruction. It has invented very powerful weapons like a nuclear bomb, missiles, hydrogen bomb and so on which can destroy the property and lost a large sum of money, which have negative effects on other aspects. But we minutely realized it, it will surely lead to success.
